Samantha is a Registered Massage Therapist born and raised in Yellowknife, having left the Great White North only to pursue education. With a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma in Marketing from B.C.’s Capilano University under her belt, she went on to complete the 2,200 hour RMT program at M.H. Vicars in Alberta to pursue her goal of a career that would offer flexibility and wellness to both herself and others. Samantha is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta.
Samantha tailors her treatments to each client’s specific concerns and presentation, using modalities that include myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, gentle relaxation, and remedial exercises. Samantha focuses on both short and long-term treatment goals, which includes providing easy to follow home care stretching and strengthening exercises to aid clients in their return to full health.
Understanding the importance of a strong and healthy mind and body, Samantha is passionate about helping those aiming to take care of themselves, whether that means providing simple stress relief, treatment of chronic headaches, TMJD and related issues, postural dysfunctions, injuries or overuse, and anything in between.
When not massaging, Samantha enjoys nearly any and all outdoor activities, running, binge reading, and spending ample time with loved ones.
