Dr. Carrie Lehman, DC is a Chiropractic Doctor at Gaia Integrative Clinic. Upon graduation Dr. Lehman moved to Adelaide, South Australia, where she practiced for 2 years. While in South Australia, Dr. Lehman had the privilege of working in both rural and metropolitan clinics. Dr. Lehman values the experiences she gained while working abroad; where she treated a range of patients from newborn babies to people in their late 90’s; as well as both amateur and professional athletes in the sports of Soccer, Australian Rules Football and Netball. Dr. Lehman believes that chiropractic care not only alleviates pain and symptoms, but also can treat the root cause of the problem and help the individual to the best quality of life.
Dr. Lehman attended the University of Western Ontario where she completed her honours degree in Kinesiology. In 2009, she earned a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Lehman has taken numerous courses and countless workshops enabling her to provide excellent, lifelong care to people of all walks of life. Dr. Lehman’s training includes inspiral paediatrics, kinesiotaping, rock-taping, and Active Release Technique. Dr. Lehman is fully certified in Graston Technique as well as having a certification in Clinical Acupuncture.
Dr. Lehman was born and raised in the Southern Ontario town of Orangeville, and has had a lifelong passion for outdoor activities including Downhill ski racing, hiking, fishing and water sports. Dr. Lehman’s sense of adventure and desire to travel was in part instilled by her father, an airline pilot. She has always thought it would be a wonderful experience to live in the far North and experience part of our wonderful country that many Canadians never have the opportunity to. Dr. Lehman is looking forward to her continued adventures in Yellowknife.
